  32. I don't know if this is your problem, but "transparency <> invisibility."
  33. Even if something is 100% transparent, you may still see traces of it under
  34. the right conditions. Sometimes increasing transparency above 100% will work,
  35. but that doesn't help when using an image map.

  37. It may not be applicable to your situation, but you may have to use object
  38. dissolve to solve the problem. Perhaps a dissolve envelope.

  40. You seem to be having problem with the edges, have you tried setting the
  41. edges to transparent?
